L’archivio del Comitato di Liberazione Nazionale di Fiesole (1944-1946). Inventario

The archive of the National Committee for Italian Liberation (Comitato di Liberazione Nazionale - CNL) in Fiesole constituites the memory of the activities carried out by this institution from the end of the National and Fascist Occupation (1st September 1944) to the dissolution of the Committee during the summer 1946. CNLs were sort of local governments aiming at liberating Central-Northern Italy and at being political governors of the whole country. Handed over to the Tuscany CNL, the CNL archive of Fiesole is now placed in Florence at the Istituto Storico della Resistenza in Toscana along with other local CNL archives. The reorder led to the discovery of 11 series on the basis of document subjects and types, chronologically ordered by kind of deals.
